Tasks are real work for real businesses and researchers. Each one shows its reward, roughly how long it takes, and how many spots are left. Spots go to whoever finishes first, and you can do each task once.
Locked tasks 🔒
Some tasks are shown with a lock, at the end of the list. You can see them, but not start them yet:
- “Opens …”: the task opens at that date and time. Come back then.
- “For members with (or without) a promo code”: the client asked for a particular group. There are plenty of others for you.
- “For Premium members ⭐”: work that needs careful hands. Become Premium with careful work (see below) and these open to you too.
Doing a good job
- Read the instructions before you start. They come from the client.
- Take your time. The bar at the top turns red if you answer faster than anyone could read the questions. Rushed work is usually rejected, and a rejected task earns nothing, so press start over and do it properly.
- Attention checks. Some tasks ask something like “to show you're reading, choose Blue”. A wrong answer means the task is rejected straight away.
- Photo, video and voice tasks ask your phone for the camera or microphone. Allow it when asked. Field visits check your location when you press “check in” at the place.
- Translation, labelling, voice and field tasks keep your items for you for a while (at least half an hour). If you don't finish in time, they go back for someone else.
After you send it
Our team checks every task. You'll find it under My submissions on the Tasks page:
- In review: waiting to be checked.
- Approved: the reward is in your wallet, under task earnings.
- Not approved: the reason is shown under the task. If you think we got it wrong, tell us in .
Premium members ⭐
Members with 55 or more approved tasks, and no more than 5% of their tasks turned down, who have invited 8 friends who completed their tasks, become Premium. It's earned with careful work, never bought: we will never ask you to pay for it. Premium members get a gold badge, and they start new tasks 60 minutes before everyone else. If too many of your tasks are turned down, you drop back until your record recovers. Your Tasks page shows how close you are.
Some campaigns run in rounds. If you took part in one round, later rounds are for other members, so the client hears from new people.
